Oslo Speaker Becomes the First in the World Listed in the AI Agent Registry, and Says It Changes Nothing, Yet
Thomas Anglero is the first professional keynote speaker in the official MCP registry, the directory AI systems use to discover websites they can work with. He is announcing it as a timestamp, not a revolution.
OSLO, Norway, 13 July 2026. On 10 July at 12:30 UTC, a new entry appeared in the official Model Context Protocol (MCP) registry, the global directory that tells AI systems such as Anthropic’s Claude, OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google’s Gemini which websites they can interact with directly. The entry, com.anglero/speaker, belongs to Thomas Anglero, a strategic AI advisor and keynote speaker based in Oslo. Of more than 16,000 servers listed in the registry, roughly fifteen represent individual professionals. Exactly one is a keynote speaker.
The infrastructure, designed, built and registered by Anglero himself over a single weekend, allows an AI agent to retrieve his biography, speaking topics and booking process, and to submit a speaking inquiry directly, with every machine-submitted inquiry transparently labelled as such.
Anglero is unusually direct about what this does not mean.
“If you book speakers for a living, nothing changes for you today,” he said. “AI platforms do not yet connect to registered websites automatically. A human still has to connect their AI to my server manually, or simply use the form like everyone else. Anyone announcing this as a revolution for buyers, this week, is overselling it. I refuse to do that.”
Why build it, then?
“Because the connection will become automatic. Every major AI platform is building toward agents that consult the registry on their own, and when that switch flips, the websites already listed are the ones agents find on day one. The registry is the phone book of the agentic internet, and it is being written now. I would rather be the first entry in my profession than a footnote explaining why I waited.”
There is a pattern here. In 1993, Anglero was among the earliest pioneers of internet telephony, later bringing Voice over IP to Europe through Ericsson and leading Free World Dialup, the peer-to-peer calling service that preceded Skype. In 2017, he founded the IBM Watson AI Lab for Cancer at Oslo Cancer Cluster, the first AI-in-cancer-research institution on a European campus. Both times, the infrastructure came before the market understood why it mattered. “Nobody needed internet calls in 1993 either,” Anglero said. “Being early looks unnecessary right up until it looks obvious.”
